Dear Molly, In 2005 you were an intern at the Ohio Department of Education and Nancy invited you to come along to a luncheon meeting with teachers on a committee at the art museum. Aminah Robinson was there as a special guest. SHe sat next to you at lunch. She was tiny – a tiny delicate bird draped with scarves and carrying a beautiful hand made purse. She asked you about what kind of art you made and told you that you needed to keep making your beautiful art no matter what. Ten years later you have your dream job at CMA. Two years after that you are writing Aminah a birthday card. She passed away the same year you took the job. She would have been 77 this year.
